Dianne K. Salerni: Moses VanCampen
Thanks for visiting my blog and letting me know about your site! I have a great interest in Pennsylvania history -- in both my roles as a school teacher and a historical fiction author. As you noticed, the story of Moses VanCampen caught my eye while I was researching another topic. If I get around to writing a story with a character based on Moses some day, I might just come bugging you! :D

John Van Campen: Moses brother Benjamin
My GGGG grandfather Benjamin was Moses youngest brother. Both brothers were surveyors, with Benjamin settling in Olean NY. I'd be inerested in hearing anything other than what I've already read in Moses biography.

Jack VanCamp: Moses VC
Moses was the nephew of my GGGGG grandfather Jacob VanCampen and cousin of my GGGG grandfather Petrus (aka Peter VanCamp) circa Revolutionary War. Moses was a Yankee who fought a lot with the Seneca in western NY. Petrus and his four sons and four daughters were loyalists allied with the Mohawks and British of eastern NY, Hudson River area.
